Cumberbatch is also very aware of the camera, meaning that he understands that connecting to the camera will connect to audience. This skill would enhance the depiction of Frollo.

As far as looks go, Cumberbatch has an angular face which could be made to look austere and make-up and styling can give him more of a Frollo look.he is also 6 feet so that would work very well to be an imposing goblin monk. Cumberbatch voice is very similar to Alan Rickman, which is a plus.

I 100% agree. I couldn’t think of anyone better to play Frollo than him. Right now I believe that Cumberbatch can do no wrong, plus he kind of has the looks for Frollo. You should consider Samantha Barks for Esmeralda, she is beautiful and I think she is a good actress, please consider it!
I think he would be a great Frollo, just as for the reasons above. I also think he would also be a great Leroux!Erik, and oddly for basically the same reasons as above. Good choice!
